A two-in-one system

The system employs two bags that work together. The Special Forces 1 Bag keeps you comfortable when the temperatures are above freezing, while the Special Forces 2 Bag is rated for temperatures approaching -10°C.

If the thermometer drops lower than that, then simply insert one into the other, use the robust zip baffle to join the two together, and you’ve created a single, integral unit that protects you against temperatures down to -20°C.

However, don’t worry about additional bulk or weight, because the Snugpak Special Forces Complete System is crafted from a unique Paratex Steelplate outer shell with a Softie Premier filling that’s strong, lightweight and exceptionally warm.

So including your compression sack, the entire system compacts down to just 30cm x 27cm and weighs just 3.2kg. Yet it’s so strong (including its reinforced foot) that you can sleep comfortably with your boots on.
