Alpha Industries MA-1 Bomber Flight Jacket Rep Grey

The Alpha Industries MA-1 Flight Jacket has been supplied to the US military for over four decades and is the world’s most popular flying jacket.

Its combination of toughness and flexibility is legendary, and it has easily made the crossover to civilian fashion where it is more commonly referred to as a bomber jacket and can be worn for many different occasions.

A design classic

The classic specifications of the original MA-1 Flight Jacket were laid down in the 1950s and revised during the 1960s. They include the ability to reverse the jacket so that its bright orange lining is outside, making it ideal for low-visibility conditions such as search and rescue missions.

The outer shell is 100% nylon, supported by a polyester and nylon flight lining for warmth, making the jacket both warm and comfortable whatever the temperature.

There is also a handy combination utility pocket on the sleeve, making this a versatile jacket for security staff, door personnel and for general wear.
